New Delhi | Rasna Founder Passed Away: Ariz Pirojshaw Khambata, the founder of Rasna, who used to lick people’s throats at an affordable price of only Re 1, has passed away. Giving information in this regard, Rasna Group said that 85-year-old Ariz Pirojshaw Khambata, founder and chairman of Rasna, has passed away on Saturday. He was the chairman of Benevolent Trust and Rasna Foundation.

Ariz Pirojshaw Khambata developed the world famous ‘Rasna’ brand and sold dry fruit soft drinks at affordable prices. According to the Rasna Group, it provides coolness to millions of people with vitamins and several nutrients. The statement also said that Khambatta made significant contributions to social development through service to Indian industry, trade and society.
