This meeting has come at a time when there is increasing dissatisfaction between the Governor and the Left Front government of the state. Now the CPI(M) has targeted this meeting. V Jayarajan, CPI(M) secretary of Kannur district, has said that we have now understood what is the reason behind this displeasure.
Taking a dig at the meeting between Arif Mohammad Khan and Mohan Bhagwat, CPI(M) secretary of Kannur district V Jayarajan said, “The governor has violated all protocols and violated all protocols by inviting Bhagwat to the house of a local RSS leader in Thrissur.” The position has been insulted. He said that later he started behaving like a Sangh Parivar and because of this he has neglected his duties and responsibilities.
Governor should respect the dignity of his office: CPI(M)
Along with this, CPI(M) state secretary Kanam Rajendram has also said on the meeting of Khan and Bhagwat that the governor should respect the dignity of his office. Giving information earlier, the Governor’s Office had said that Arif Mohammad Khan had a meeting with Bhagwat at around 8 pm on Saturday night. The governor had refused to talk to the media about it. A senior official in Khan’s office said, “The governor held a meeting with the RSS chief. It was a courtesy meeting. This meeting was pre-planned.
Controversy is going on between CPI(M) and Khan

The ongoing tussle between Kerala Governor Khan and the ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) escalated on Saturday after the governor categorically said that the state government cannot be empowered to appoint university vice-chancellors and the Left Khan was accused of running a false campaign against the state government.
