Voting continues in Himachal Pradesh to break the old tradition, know how much voting has taken place so far

Shimla | Himachal Chunav 2022: In Himachal Pradesh, India’s hill state, voting is being held for 68 assembly seats today to break and repeat the old tradition between the BJP and the Congress. Voting which began at 8 am on Saturday will continue till 5 pm. Voting is taking place at a total of 7884 polling stations in the state. In the first one hour of polling till 9 pm, only 4 per cent polling was recorded.

Now not the government, we will change the old tradition…
It has been an old tradition in Himachal Pradesh that the government changes in every election. Meaning every time the ruling party has to face defeat in the election. In such a situation, the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is eager to break this practice which is going on in this hill state. For this, the BJP has also given a new slogan here that ‘Raj nahi, customs will change’. Now not the government, we will change the old tradition.

Himachal CM Jai Ram Thakur cast his vote with family
With the commencement of voting in the morning, the queue of voters started at the polling stations. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur along with his family cast their vote in Siraj assembly constituency of Mandi district. During this, he expressed confidence of BJP’s resounding victory in the elections.

Himachal Chunav 2022: The fate of 412 candidates contesting the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections will be imprisoned in the EVMs at 5 pm today. After which the results will be declared after the counting of votes on December 8. This real contest is believed to be between BJP and Congress, whereas, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party has also come here to try its luck.
