Annu Kapoor accuses Arundhati Roy of cheating the country

In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, Annu said that I could not fulfill my dream of becoming an IAS officer, but I take my job as an actor very seriously to serve my motherland. The question of joining politics is far from my mind.” He said, “I am not fit for politics. I don’t have the talent to be a politician. In one of my shows, I was explaining what a politician literally means. Poli means many and in some cryptic words, tician means ‘creeping insects’. Politicians or all the people living in judiciary or bureaucracy are the product of our system. Unfortunately, our system is one of the most corrupt, hypocritical and ostentatious systems out there. I don’t care about Switzerland, America, I care about India. I take my country very seriously and I feel very pathetic about it”.
