Let us inform here that after losing the assembly elections held in West Bengal last year, this will be the first time that Shah will visit Bengal. According to information received from sources, Shah will meet the leaders of his party’s West Bengal unit, including all MPs and MLAs, during his visit. It is also being said that Shah will address a public meeting in West Bengal. Along with this, there is also a program to visit the forward areas along the India-Bangladesh border.

BSF will inaugurate border post…

Amit Shah Bengal Visit : According to the information, Home Minister Shah will inaugurate the floating border post of Border Security Force (BSF) in Hingalganj. Lay the foundation stone of Maitri Museum in Haridaspur. After this, in the evening, the Union Minister will address a public meeting in Siliguri. Sources said that the Home Minister will visit three bighas of the Indo-Bangladesh border on Friday and interact with BSF personnel there. After attending the program at Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata on Friday, the Union Minister will hold a meeting with the office bearers at the state BJP headquarters.

Amit Shah Bengal Visit : Amit Shah’s visit to West Bengal comes at a time when the party is trying to strengthen its organizational set-up in the state. It has been plagued by internal strife and defections since the 2021 assembly election results. BJP sources said that he will also visit the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office there. A senior BJP leader said that in Siliguri, Amit Shah will garland the statues of the great Gorkha mountaineer Tenzing Norgay and Cooch Behar’s Rajbanshi leader Thakur Panchanan Barma. There he will address a public meeting and leave for Darjeeling in the evening.
