Kishanganj. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday offered prayers at the famous ‘Budhi Kali Mandir’ in Kishanganj, Bihar. Amit Shah’s Bihar visit began with a BJP rally in Purnia district on Friday afternoon, after which he reached Kishanganj in the evening and held a meeting with MLAs, MPs and other office-bearers.
The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) shared a video in which Shah is seen performing aarti at the temple and taking blessings of priests. The ancient Kali temple is believed to have been built on the land donated by a Muslim Nawab. According to BJP sources, Shah is scheduled to end his tour after a meeting with Sashastra Seema Bal officials. (Language)
