Allu Arjun has recently been in the news not only for his recent mega-blockbuster film Pushpa 2 but also for the midnight premiere of the film at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, which took the life of a 29-year-old woman. The management of Sandhya Theater had earlier claimed that they had taken proper permission from the local police and had asked them to provide security. Now a letter from the local police has come to light which was in response to the letter from the Sandhya Theater management. In the letter, the police have asked the Sandhya theater management not to invite any celebrity as it is not possible to ‘control the crowd’.
On 2 December, Sandhya Theater management requested the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chikkadpally, Hyderabad to arrange police arrangements in connection with the release of Pushpa 2 on 4 December as the lead actors, VIPs and production units were scheduled to come to watch the film. It will be interesting to see how Allu Arjun’s lawyers and Sandhya Theater management react to this letter. The actor got bail after being arrested in the case.
