Along with the makers of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, actor Allu Arjun extended a helping hand to the woman who died in the stampede and her seriously injured son during the premiere show of the film at Sandhya Theater on December 4. He said that to help the boy and his family, the film unit has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 2 crore. Allu Arjun has donated Rs 1 crore, while the film’s producer Mythri Movies has donated Rs 50 lakh. The film’s director Sukumar has also given Rs 50 lakh to the family. Injured Mr. Teja’s father Bhaskar had told on Tuesday that he received a demand draft of Rs 10 lakh from Allu Arjun. The actor’s manager is also in touch with the family to get updates on the boy’s condition. The family is receiving assistance from both the Telangana government and Allu Arjun. Bhaskar said that Roads and Buildings Minister Venkat Reddy had given him a check of Rs 25 lakh. He had told that after 20 days he saw some movement in his son’s body. He also opened his eyes, but did not recognize any of us. Actor Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in the Sandhya theater stampede case and released on interim bail the next day. Chikkadpally police registered a case of culpable homicide and interrogated Allu Arjun for more than three hours on Tuesday.
