New Delhi | GPS Toll Collection: The central government is going to make a big change again in the country. Under which now the toll blocks appearing on the national highway will be removed. Now people will not need to stop at toll plazas. Because, now the government will take a step forward from electric toll plazas and collect toll through GPS technology.

Toll will now be charged through GPS
GPS Toll Collection: Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, while giving information in this regard, has said that the government has started using many new technologies on the National Highway. We are preparing a new policy for GPS based tracking system in place of toll plazas in India. Now the collection of toll tax will be done through GPS. For which GPS system has also been made mandatory in the vehicle. The GPS will record where you entered and where you left. And money will be deducted from your bank account. You won’t have to stop anywhere.

There will be only one toll naka, the rest will be removed
With this, Gadkari said that for the convenience of the public, now there will be only one toll plaza on the national highway within a radius of every 60 km. All other toll nakas will be removed, this work will also be completed within three months.
