Srinagar. The President of India on Tuesday appointed Justice Ali Mohammed Magrey as Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court. A notification issued by Rajinder Kashyap, Additional Secretary to the Government of India, said, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 (Article-217) of the Constitution of India, the President Appointed Justice Ali Mohammed Magrey, Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, as the Chief Justice of the High Court. expressed happiness.
Another notification issued said that the President, in exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, Justice Pankaj Mithal ) as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Rajasthan. Justice Ali Mohammed Magrey was born on 8 December 1960 in Wattoo Village of Kulgam district of Kashmir. He graduated from Kashmir University with LLB in 1984, started his practice in district courts. (IANS)
