Air India Express to start flights to Bahrain, Dammam

Thiruvananthapuram. Air India Express will start two new international flights from Thiruvananthapuram to West Asia in the next two weeks. Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Limited said in a release that the new flight from here to Dammam in Saudi Arabia will start from December 1 and to Bahrain from November 30.

It was informed that Air India Express is the second airline to operate air services on the Thiruvananthapuram-Bahrain route, before which only Gulf Air operates here and it has seven flights a week on this route.

This will be the first service on the Thiruvananthapuram-Dammam route. Flights to Bahrain will be available on Wednesdays and Sundays, while flights to Dammam will leave on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the release said. Booking has started for both the services.
