After the Patiala violence, Hindu organizations announced a shutdown today, mobile-internet services closed till 6 pm

Patiala | Patiala Violence: Tension prevails in the area after a violent clash between two groups on Friday in Patiala, Punjab. Mobile internet services temporarily suspended in Patiala from 9:30 am to 6 pm today. In view of the serious situation, the police administration had already imposed curfew for the whole night here. But now the trouble has come to the fore in front of the Punjab government and the police administration. In protest against the violence, Hindu organizations have announced Patiala Bandh on Saturday. Significantly, on Friday, there was a dispute over the procession, in which two groups had fencing and stone pelting. Many people were injured in this violence.

Section 144 implemented in many districts
Patiala Violence: After the Patiala violence and the announcement of Patiala Bandh by Hindu organizations, Section 144 has been imposed in many districts of Punjab. Hindu organizations say that there has been violence due to the anti-Khalistan march. The violence took place during an anti-Khalistan march near the Kali Devi temple in Patiala. In this case, the police has detained Shiv Sena leader Harish Singla.

Politics sparked over Patiala violence
Politics has now erupted over the violence in Patiala, Punjab. Political parties are blaming each other for the violence. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has expelled Harish Singla from the party for taking out anti-Khalistan march in Patiala. Aam Aadmi Party has blamed BJP Yuva Morcha, Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akali Dal for the Patiala violence. On the other hand, the BJP has called it a failure of the Punjab government.
