Actress Priya Prakash Varrier becomes the brand ambassador of cyber crime awareness campaign ‘Trapped’ Zone

Priya recently completed the shooting of a film titled Love Hackers, which deals with the dark web and cybercriminals. In this film directed by Mayank Srivastava, she will be seen in the role of a cyber crime victim.

Priya Prakash Varrier, who also became an internet sensation by being the brand ambassador, says, “I am honored to be a part of this campaign. It is really very personal for me because all these years I have been able to make a difference in my life. I have also got recognition, that is because of the internet and social media. I have personally been a victim of cyber harassment and bullying because it is part of my profession. That’s why we see trolling, memes and what not every day.”
