New Delhi| Rajasthan Congress Crisis: After the election of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for the post of Congress President and the speculations of his victory, the atmosphere in Rajasthan regarding the post of CM has heated up. Former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Sachin Pilot wants to take over the chair of CM, whereas, CM Gehlot is not seen willing to hand over the responsibility of CM to him. In such a situation, a tussle has started in the Rajasthan Congress over the contenders for the CM chair.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has called a meeting of Congress Legislature Party at his CM residence in Jaipur today at 7 pm. The meeting will also be attended by Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge and general secretary in-charge Ajay Maken, who have been made observers. In such a situation, it is believed that the main purpose of this meeting is to announce the name of the new CM of Rajasthan.

Even Pilot has made it clear that the principle of one person one post should apply in the party and Gehlot should resign as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan if he becomes the party president.
