New Creta: The competition in the SUV market in India has become even tougher. Hyundai Creta, which has made its mark in the market with its special features and styling, has now been introduced with new changes. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched a new variant of its popular SUV Creta.

Talking about the price of the new Creta, its showroom price is between Rs 13.51 lakh to Rs 18.18 lakh. With the launch of the new Creta Knight Edition, HMIL is once again offering an exciting SUV option to the customers, the company said on Tuesday. It matches their aspiration for ‘bold’ and ‘sporty’ design.

Giving information about the new Creta, the company said that the petrol variant has been launched with a six-speed manual and automatic (IVT) transmission. Their price is Rs 13.51 lakh and Rs 17.22 lakh respectively. The showroom price of the diesel variant with manual and automatic transmission is Rs 14.47 lakh and Rs 18.18 lakh respectively.

Hyundai’s Creta has already made its mark in the segment of mid-side SUVs priced from 13 to 18 lakhs. In this market, the direct competition of Creta will be from Kia’s Seltos and MG’s Aster, two companies that recently entered India. Apart from this, it will also give tough competition to Tata Motors’ Harrier.
