Sonbhadra News: New CMO Dr. Rajesh Kumar Thakur visited the district on Thursday and inquired about the status of health services and COVID vaccination. During this, where many shortcomings were found in Ghorawal CHC. At the same time, necessary instructions were given to take precautions at the covid vaccination centers as well.

During the inspection of Community Health Center Ghorawal, it was found that the cleanliness in the outer premises was not good. Other doctors including the medical superintendent were found doing OPD. During the inspection of the emergency ward, it was found that there was no clean sheet on the beds, which were instructed to change immediately.

Instructions given to get the cleaning of the delivery room done properly

Inspection of the labor room-labor room found that there was a delivery whose weight was taken but the labor room was not clean. The concerned staff nurse and female doctor were directed that in every case, the delivery room should be cleaned properly, so that the newborn and the mother could be protected from infection. In the inspection of the X-ray room, the machine was found fine but the operation was found to be stopped.

814 children up to 15-18 years got corona vaccine

The medical superintendent told that there is no X-ray-plate and other items. The CMO directed the Additional Chief Medical Officer (Store) to provide the goods. After here CMO inspected the Kovid Vaccination Center Sonanchal Inter College. 814 children in the age group of 15-18 years got the corona vaccine. 310 children were yet to be vaccinated. Instructions were given for following the Kovid protocol, necessary precautions and cleanliness.
