Deepika Padukone IPL Bid: Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh want to become the owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team. Two new franchises are set to be in the IPL 2022 season, which will increase the number of teams to ten.
The IPL governing body had invited bids to acquire the rights to two new teams for the upcoming season. The report of Deepika and Ranveer bidding is going viral on social media. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has posted a joke on Twitter. He wrote that the jersey of the team owned by Ranveer is going to be interesting, as he is famous for his dressing.

Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone is a former champion of All England badminton.

Apart from this, pharma companies like Torrent Pharma and Aurobindo Pharma have also taken bid documents. A Singapore-based private equity firm and a US-based venture capitalist have also bought documents.
