Srinagar | Road Accident in Poonch: 9 people have died in a very tragic road accident in Jammu and Kashmir. Last evening, a vehicle full of processions fell off the road and fell into a ditch in Bufaliyaz area of the state’s Poonch. 9 people died in this road accident, while 4 got injured.

Road Accident in Poonch: A police officer was quoted as saying about this painful accident that a vehicle carrying the processionists while returning from Marha village of Surankot sub-division fell uncontrollably into the gorge on the Marha-Bufliyaz road. There were 13 passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Police started rescue with local people
Road Accident in Poonch: Police reached the information of the accident, started the rescue with the local people and the people who fell in the ditch were rescued. It has come to the fore in the information that, during this time 7 people died on the spot. Six injured were pulled out of the ditch and admitted to Sub District Hospital, Surankot, where 2 more people died. The remaining four injured were later referred to Rajouri due to the seriousness of the situation.
