Eight laborers were killed, while eight other laborers are said to be seriously injured when an uncontrolled truck overturned on the side of the road in Bihar’s Purnia in the early hours of Monday. It is being told that the truck was going from Siliguri to Jammu. A police officer said that a truck laden with pipes, which was going from Siliguri to Jammu (Jammu), was uncontrolled near Jhajha Chowk, ahead of Seema Kali Mandir of Jalalgarh police station. It overturned in a big pothole on the side of the road.
