Jammu. The State Investigation Agency of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday filed a charge sheet against a former minister and two others in the terror funding case. In a statement issued by the SIA, it has been said that in a case registered at Gandhi Nagar police station in Jammu district, former minister Jatinder Singh alias Babu Singh, Muhammad Sharif Shah (Muhammad Sharif Shah) ) and Muhammad Hussain Khatib, who was later transferred to the SIA. The court was requested to file a supplementary charge sheet in the near future. Former Congress leader Babu Singh was a minister in the Congress-PDP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir. It is believed that out of the three accused, Muhammad Hussain Khatib is currently hiding in Pakistan.

The SIA said in a statement that Muhammad Sharif Shah was arrested by the Jammu Police with an extremism fund of Rs 6,90,000 for Jatinder Singh alias Babu Singh. and it was to be used for the anti-national activities of Babu Singh and his party, which was named ‘Nature’ Mankind Friendly Global Party’. It said that Babu Singh was in contact with terrorists of terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen and separatists of JKLF (unlawful association). These opposition organizations, through their allies, had sent this terrorist fund from Pakistan for Babu Singh’s party. The vision document of this party issued by accused Babu Singh was to make Jammu and Kashmir, PoK and Gilgit Baltistan an independent country by making it a federation of Pakistan.

During the investigation, it is revealed that Babu Singh was in touch with Muhammad Hussain Khatib on an encrypted social media application and had secretly visited Dubai to arrange funds. . Muhammad Sharif Shah was named as the secretary of this party, which received these funds in Kashmir. unknown person and traveled to Jammu to hand over these funds to Babu Singh. The fund was arranged by Muhammad Hussain Khatib, but Muhammad Sharif Shah was arrested before handing over the insurgency fund to Babu Singh. The investigation has established that Babu Singh was conducting online meetings and interviews with the adversary and in his online address, he compared Maqbool Bhat, a terrorist, with Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev and Maqbool Bhat as a freedom fighter and Jammu Called the martyr of Kashmir.

In one such online interview, Babu Singh challenged and threatened the Indian government to prevent further bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir, a reference to the abrogation of Article 370. Babu Singh’s links with Muhammad Hussain Khatib and other cadres of Pakistan-based Hizbul have also been established during the investigation. Anti-national and highly inflammatory material has been recovered by the SIA from the mobile phone of Babu Singh, which establishes his intention to damage and endanger the unity, integrity and sovereignty of India, the SIA statement said.
